Facial toner
Natural facial toner for every skin type
Facial toner is the step between cleansing and moisturizing that many people skip. It completes the cleansing process, restores balance to the skin after exposure to tap water, and prepares it so that serums and creams are better absorbed. Our toners are formulated with natural ingredients and are free of phthalates, parabens, and silicones.
- REVIVE, toner for dry and sensitive skin: hydrates, soothes redness, and provides comfort.
- REFRESH, toner for combination and oily skin: sebum-regulating, purifies pores, and refreshes. Formulated with biotechnology and natural ingredients.
How to use facial toner: after cleansing your face, apply it morning and night with your hands or a reusable makeup removal pad, avoiding the eye contour area. Let it absorb and continue with your serum and moisturizer.

Preguntas frecuentes
What is a facial toner for?
To rebalance the skin after cleansing and prepare it for serum and moisturizer, which will then penetrate better. It is not an essential step, but it makes a difference if your skin tends to feel tight or gets too shiny. We tell you how to make the most of it in how to use facial toner.
REVIVE or REFRESH?
The entire botanical base changes, not just the scent. REVIVE is designed for dry and sensitive skin: orange blossom water, Damask rose, and lavender, with aloe vera and hop extract, for a soothing and hydrating effect. REFRESH is for oily and combination skin: its base is witch hazel water, geranium, and peppermint, with succinic acid and extracts of fucus, burdock, ivy, sage, watercress, and lemon, aimed at mattifying and balancing.
Do they contain alcohol?
Neither of them does. You won't see Alcohol or Alcohol Denat. in the INCI, as these are the ingredients that dry out the skin and give that false sensation of a deep clean. We clarify this especially for REFRESH: classic witch hazel toners are usually alcohol-based, but ours is not. What does appear in both is Benzyl Alcohol, an aromatic alcohol naturally present in essential oils that functions as a preservative in minimal amounts and has no astringent effect. If you want to learn how to interpret any label, we show you how in how to read an INCI.
Do they contain perfume allergens?
We do not add perfume to either of them: the allergens that appear on the label come naturally from the plants' essential oils. In REFRESH, only Benzyl Alcohol is listed. In REVIVE, because it contains rose, lavender, and orange blossom, geraniol, linalool, and terpineol are also listed. If you know you react to any of these, keep it in mind when choosing, even if your skin is dry.
How is it preserved without parabens?
With Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, a radish root ferment that acts as a natural preservative, along with potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate; REFRESH also incorporates dehydroacetic acid. These are alternatives to the usual synthetic preservatives, which we discuss in why talk about parabens.
When should I apply it?
Right after cleansing, while the skin is still slightly damp, and before the serum. You can apply it with your hands or with a reusable cotton pad.
I have oily skin, does toner help me?
Yes, if it is the right one: REFRESH is the one to use. Witch hazel is naturally astringent, and the succinic acid and fucus assist in controlling sebum, all without drying the skin, which is the key for oily skin types. More tips in how to care for oily skin.
