Volume and fine hair

Volumizing shampoo and conditioner for fine hair

Limp hair that lies flat against the head and loses its style within a couple of hours: fine hair has thinner strands and gets weighed down easily, especially with products containing silicones or those that are too nourishing. To give it body, you need to cleanse the roots well and provide lightweight hydration.

  • BLOOM volume solid shampoo: with hyaluronic acid and volumizing active ingredients that add body to fine hair. Plastic-free and long-lasting.
  • BALANCE natural conditioner: lightweight; detangles and hydrates without reducing volume. Also ideal if your fine hair gets oily quickly.

Volume tip: apply the conditioner only from mid-lengths to ends and dry your hair upside down.

Preguntas frecuentes

Why does my fine hair lack volume?

Usually due to accumulated weight. Silicones and products that coat the hair fiber provide immediate softness but weigh it down wash after wash, and fine hair shows this immediately: it falls flat from the root. Removing that coating usually restores volume without needing anything else.

Which shampoo should I use?

BLOOM is our solid shampoo for volume and fine hair, formulated without silicones to avoid weighing it down. If your hair also gets oily quickly, pair it with the lightweight BALANCE conditioner.

How can I get volume without styling products?

Three simple tips: dry your hair upside down, apply conditioner only from mid-lengths to ends, and change your part from time to time. These add up to more than most volumizers. We explain this further in how to add volume to fine hair naturally.

Will conditioner take away my volume?

Only if you apply it to the roots or choose one that is too nourishing. Fine hair also needs conditioner: without it, it tangles and breaks when combed, and broken hair has less body, not more. The rule is mid-lengths to ends and a lightweight texture.

Fine hair or low density?

Fine refers to the thickness of each individual strand; density refers to how many you have. If you notice a lower quantity of hair rather than a lack of body, your issue is not volume but hair loss.

Does a solid shampoo weigh down fine hair?

It shouldn't, and if you notice that it does, it is usually for two reasons: excess product or insufficient rinsing. Rub the bar just enough, and above all, rinse for much longer than you think is necessary, especially if you have hard water. This adjustment solves most cases.
