Facial Sun Protection
SPF50 mineral facial sunscreen, invisible and with no white cast
The sun is the main cause of dark spots and premature skin aging, so facial sun protection should be the last step of your morning routine all year round. The problem with many mineral sunscreens is that they leave the face looking white or feeling heavy.
Our natural facial sunscreen is a 100% mineral biotechnological formula with non-nano zinc oxide and no titanium dioxide, offering broad-spectrum SPF50 with an ultra-light, invisible texture and no white cast. Perfect for daily use, even under makeup.
Apply it as the last step of your routine, after your moisturizer, and reapply if you spend many hours in the sun. For the body and children, check out our full range of sun protection.

Preguntas frecuentes
What exactly does SPF mean?
It stands for Sun Protection Factor: it indicates how much UVB radiation the product filters. Our facial sunscreen is SPF 50, the highest level in the European classification. We explain it in detail in what SPF means.
What sunscreen filter does it use and why mineral?
The only filter in our facial sunscreen is zinc oxide. It does not contain any chemical filters. A mineral filter acts as a physical shield, reflecting radiation from the skin's surface instead of absorbing it, which is why it is usually better tolerated by sensitive and reactive skin. We explain this in mineral sunscreen filter, and we compare both types in physical vs. chemical sunscreens.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin? Does it contain perfume?
It contains no perfume or declared allergens, and its only filter is mineral, so it is a suitable option for sensitive and reactive skin. The formula is completed with squalane, vitamin E, beta-carotene, and carrot, licorice, and lotus extracts.
Should facial sunscreen be used in winter too?
Yes. UVA radiation passes through clouds and glass and is present all year round, and it is the main culprit behind photoaging and dark spots. More reasons in the benefits of facial sunscreen.
What about blue light from screens?
Zinc oxide acts as a physical shield and reflects part of the visible spectrum, so it does provide some barrier. That said, it is worth putting things into perspective: solar radiation remains, by far, the main source of oxidative damage to the skin. We compare this in blue light vs. the sun: which oxidizes more.
How much should I apply and how often should I reapply?
Most people apply less than half of what is necessary, which reduces the actual protection far below the SPF on the label. For the face, about two fingers of product, and reapply every two hours of exposure. We detail this in how to apply sunscreen correctly, and we review the most common mistakes in 7 mistakes and myths about sun protection.
I have oily skin; won't it make me look shinier?
It is the most common question and the reason why many people skip this step. The key is in the finish and texture of the product. We help you choose in how to choose the best sunscreen for oily skin.
What about for the body and children?
We have Body Sunscreen SPF 50, with a super fluid texture, and Baby & Kids Sunscreen SPF 50 for babies' and children's skin. All three are 100% mineral, with non-nano zinc oxide.
Is it ocean-friendly?
By containing only a mineral filter, it avoids chemical filters identified as problematic for coral reefs. We talk about this in your sunscreen could be destroying corals.
