Preguntas frecuentes
How do you use tooth powder?
Wet your toothbrush, shake off the excess water, and dip the bristles into the jar, giving it a little twist so the powder adheres. Brush as normal and spit. A touch is enough: loading too much doesn't clean better and it won't last as long.
The jar comes half-full, is that normal?
Yes, and we prefer to explain it to you because it can be confusing at first glance. The jar is sized for the refill, which is 120 ml, double the 60 ml of the initial content. In other words: the container is not just designed for the first use, but for you to reuse it for years and have enough room for twice the amount of product each time you refill it.
How do I wet it without ruining the jar?
Shake the toothbrush well before inserting it: the powder can handle occasional moisture, but if too much water gets in, it will clump. If you share a bathroom and are wary of using the same jar, pour a little powder into the lid or the palm of your hand and load the brush from there.
What scents are available in powder?
Two: SPRING, with lemon and ginger, and WINTER. If you are looking for more variety, the tablet range has four scents.
Powder or tablet?
Powder goes further and is more economical per use, and it lets you control the dosage yourself. The tablet has a measured dose, does not spill, and is more practical for traveling or carrying in your bag. The active ingredients are equivalent, so it is a matter of routine.
What does it contain and why is it fluoride-free?
Natural active ingredients and prebiotics that protect the gums and fight plaque, with xylitol as the star: we explain this in xylitol, an effective protective and antibacterial agent. Regarding fluoride, it is a product for daily use throughout life and its long-term role remains a subject of open scientific debate; we have preferred to formulate without it. We elaborate on this in what is really in toothpaste. If you have a history of cavities or an indication from your dentist, consult them before switching.
What about triclosan and other flagged ingredients?
We don't use it, nor do we use parabens or microplastics. Triclosan is an antibacterial agent that was used for years in toothpastes and is flagged as a possible endocrine disruptor; oral hygiene is a special case because the product comes into contact with the oral mucosa. We elaborate on this in everything you need to know about endocrine disruptors.
Is there a refill?
Yes, and that is the beauty of the format: the refill contains 120 ml and you reuse the original jar as many times as you like.
