Oily and fine hair
Shampoo and conditioner for oily and fine hair
Oily and fine hair is a difficult combination: it gets greasy at the roots quickly, and if you use nourishing products, it gets weighed down and loses all its volume. You need a good, gentle cleanse and very light hydration.
- MARE solid shampoo: for oily hair, cleanses and balances excess oil.
- BLOOM solid shampoo: with hyaluronic acid, adds volume to fine hair.
- BALANCE natural conditioner: a conditioner for oily and fine hair that hydrates without sacrificing volume.
- Citric mini-size pack, to try out the routine.
Apply the conditioner only from mid-lengths to ends and gradually increase the time between washes. More options in oily hair and volume and fine hair.

Preguntas frecuentes
Why does my hair get greasy so quickly?
It is almost never because you aren't washing it well. Excess sebum usually comes from an overstimulated gland, and what stimulates it most is precisely drying it out: harsh shampoos, very hot water, and rushed washes. The skin responds by producing more oil. We explain this in detail in how to keep greasy hair clean for longer.
What should I use for greasy hair?
MARE is the solid shampoo for oily hair, and BALANCE is the lightweight conditioner that hydrates without weighing it down. If you also have fine hair and are looking for body, try BLOOM.
If I have greasy hair, should I skip conditioner?
No. It is the most common mistake: hair that is greasy at the roots is often dry at the ends, and skipping conditioner only worsens the imbalance. The key is in the product and the application area: a lightweight one like BALANCE, applied from mid-lengths to ends and never on the scalp.
Can I wash my hair every day?
Yes, if the shampoo is gentle. The idea that you have to "retrain" your scalp by spacing out washes doesn't have much support, and putting up with dirty hair does not reduce sebum production. What does matter is not using very hot water and not scrubbing with your fingernails.
I have fine hair, how can I get volume?
Volume is mainly lost due to buildup: silicones and products that coat the fiber make it heavy. A silicone-free shampoo, drying your hair upside down, and not applying conditioner to the roots do more than any volumizing product. The complete guidelines can be found in how to add volume to fine hair.
Are fine hair and low-density hair the same thing?
No, and it is important to distinguish them. Fine hair refers to the thickness of each strand; density refers to how many hairs you have. You can have a lot of very fine hair, or a small amount of thick hair. If what you notice is less quantity and not less thickness, take a look at the hair loss range.
How do I know if a shampoo is truly gentle?
By the INCI, not the packaging. Look for the absence of SLS and SLES among the first ingredients and ensure there are no silicones. We give you the keys in how to tell if a shampoo is truly healthy.
