Imperfect on the outside.
Perfect on the inside.
Every year, the cosmetics industry discards billions of products that work perfectly. Their only problem: a dented box, a crooked label, or an approaching expiry date. We prefer to rescue them.

What the beauty industry doesn't show you
We talk a lot about packaging. But there is another type of waste that almost no one talks about: products that are manufactured, packaged… and never reach anyone's skin.
cosmetic and personal care units are released on the market worldwide every year.
products are destroyed every year due to expiry, excess stock, or damage during distribution.
that are manufactured never gets used.
in hygiene and beauty products were destroyed in France alone, until 2022, when it banned the destruction of unsold products by law.
Every destroyed product is water, ingredients, energy, and work thrown away. And almost always, for something that has nothing to do with what's inside.
Three reasons why a product "isn't worth it"...
and why it is
Aesthetic flaw
A scuffed or dented package, a poorly applied label, an irregularly shaped solid. Details that would condemn it to the trash in a conventional store.
Approaching expiry date
Products that have little time left before their best-before date. They are in perfect condition: they just need you to use them now, not wait in a drawer.
No box or old packaging
When we update a design or a box gets damaged in the warehouse, the product inside remains exactly the same one you love so much.
How we rescue every product
At Banbu, we have always wanted to have the smallest possible impact on the planet, on your health, and on animal health. Throwing away a product that works does not fit with that.
That is why Perfectly Imperfect was born: to give a second life to everything that doesn't pass the "beauty test", but does fulfill its function 100%.

I want to rescue oneFrequently asked questions
Is it safe to use an imperfect product?
Yes. It is exactly the same formula as the "perfect" product. We only put imperfect products on sale whose contents and seals are intact; if a flaw could affect the product, we do not sell it.
What does "approaching expiry date" mean?
That the product has little time left before its best-before date. It retains its properties, but we recommend you start using it as soon as it arrives, instead of storing it.
Why are they cheaper?
Because they could not be sold through traditional channels and would end up being destroyed. We prefer to lower the price so they get used, rather than throwing them away.
Are imperfect products always available?
No. We usually release imperfect products once a year: for months we collect products with approaching expiry dates or with some flaw, and we release them all at once. Quantities are limited, so if you see something that suits you, do not let it slip away.
Can I return an imperfect product?
No. Perfectamente Imperfectos products are not covered by the 40-day guarantee and cannot be returned. That is why we tell you what flaw each one has before you buy it.
